The belt system in Gracie Barra's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu follows a traditional hierarchy to recognize and acknowledge a practitioner's skills and progress. Starting from the white belt, which is the beginner level, practitioners can advance through different colored belts including blue, purple, brown, and finally, the black belt. Each belt represents a different level of skill and mastery in BJJ techniques.

For optimal progress, we recommend attending Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes at Gracie Barra Hialeah two to three times per week. However, we understand that everyone's schedule is different and we are flexible.
